Are you a recent engineering graduate looking to kick-start your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join our team, working across sites in the Northern Home Counties and at our head office in Hitchin.

About the Role:

As a Graduate Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our Temporary Works department. No prior experience in Temporary Works is required or anything related - just a passion for engineering and a willingness to learn. This role offers hands-on experience across a variety of construction projects, providing a solid foundation for your engineering career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of Temporary Works solutions.

  • Work closely with senior engineers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.

  • Conduct site visits to gain practical knowledge and oversee engineering solutions in action.

  • Support the preparation of technical drawings, reports, and risk assessments.

  • Engage with contractors and project managers to ensure best practices are followed.

What We're Looking For:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.

  • Full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential).
