Our client, a leading independent provider of mobile hose replacement services, is expanding in the region and looking to bring skilled engineers on board.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily safety checks on service vehicles to ensure operational readiness.
- Respond promptly to customer breakdowns, providing efficient on-site hydraulic hose repairs.
- Use the clients app to manage job tracking, update customers, and maintain inventory for your service van.
- Deliver high standards of service, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying potential new business opportunities.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, covering nights and weekends, with enhanced overtime pay for additional hours worked.
- Ensure the service van is well-stocked and organized, with all necessary supplies readily available.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Experience in hydraulic systems or related fields (e.g., Forklift/Plant fitter, HGV fitter, Agricultural Fitter).
- A valid UK driving license held for at least two years.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience in mobile repair services.
