Or client based on the outskirts of Hitchin is seeking a Labourer for a few days for some basic labouring tasks
Duties:
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Ensure tools and equipment are stored securely and returned to proper areas after use.
- Provide support to skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by carrying materials and tools.
- Perform tasks under the supervision of skilled workers to support project completion.
- Organize and stack materials in an accessible, orderly manner.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), such as hard hats, gloves, and safety goggles.
- Report any unsafe conditions or hazards to the site supervisor immediately.
- Regularly clean and maintain work areas to keep the construction site organized and free of hazards.
- Dispose of waste materials according to site regulations.
