Are you a Health and Safety Manager or similar who is NEBOSH or IOSH qualified, with a background in the scaffolding industry, looking for a technical and lifesaving role within a well-established Scaffolding company who offer the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge as well as make the role your own through planning your own workload?


This leading Scaffolding company provide Scaffolding services within the commercial and residential industry. They have been operating for over 20+ years and have continued to grow year on year with their team now consisting of 90 employees. Due to an ever increasing workload, they are now looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join their friendly team and make their mark on the business.


This varied role will see you working primarily autonomously as you undertake daily site visits across the South of the UK to carry out health and safety inspections and audits, scaffold inspections, development of health and safety policies, accident investigations and risk assessments. You will be working closely with Site managers and teams as well as reporting back to senior leadership, as you work 8:00am-5:00pm Monday - Friday.

This role would suit a Health and Safety Manager or similar, with a background in scaffolding, looking for a varied managerial role within a well-established company, offering the opportunity to manage your own time and develop new skills helping you to progress throughout the company.


The Role:
- Carry out site visits to conduct health and safety audits and inspections
- Scaffolding inspections Review and update existing risk assessment procedures
- Review and update existing risk assessment procedures
- Visiting sites across the South of UK
- Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

The Person:
- Health and Safety Manager or similar
- Scaffolding background
- IOSH / NEBOSH or similar qualification
- Based in Hitchin (willing to regularly travel to sites)
