My client based in Hitchin is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager / Financial Controller to join their team.
This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally within a smaller business environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
A competitive salary of £50,000 to £60,000 is offered, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Candidates should be qualified (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) or QBE, with strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide insightful financial analysis and support.

My client based in Hitchin is looking to recruit a hands on Finance Manager / Financial Controller to join its team. Reporting to the MD, this is a hands on role within a smaller business, where you can make a real difference.

They are not just looking for someone to produce the numbers, but are also looking for someone with the commercial acumen to support the leadership team and play a crucial role in ensuring they have the infrastructure in place to allow sustainable growth.

Produce Monthly Management Accounts
Budgeting & Forecasting
Cashflow management
Financial Analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities
Provide insightful reports and recommendations on financial performance

You are a qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) or QBE Accountant, who is experienced in providing accurate information, relevant analysis and financial support to the directors. You must be hands on in approach, with the ability to be into the detail whilst being mindful of the bigger picture.
