Day-to-Day of the Role:- Oversee the end-to-end claims lifecycle, ensuring processes are efficient, optimised, and customer-centric.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the claims team to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.
- Work closely with the compliance team to ensure all operations comply with FCA regulations and internal policies.
- Champion a customer-first approach in claims handling, ensuring timely and transparent communication.
- Drive continuous improvement in claims processes, leveraging technology and data to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive operations and align claims operations with strategic goals.
- Proactively identify risks in the claims process and implement mitigating actions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting frameworks to monitor claims performance and compliance.
- Experience in a senior claims management role within a regulated environment (FCA-regulated business experience preferred).
- In-depth understanding of claims processes, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
