Job Role: Maths Lecturer Hourly Rate: Up to £38 per hourJob Type: Full-time, TemporaryLocation: Hitchin CampusAbout the RoleWe are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Lecturer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, engaging mathematics lessons to students, helping them build strong mathematical skills and achieve their academic and professional goals.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching in Mathematics to students of varying abilities.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lesson plans, assignments, and exams to ensure students' success.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students, fostering a positive and motivating learning environment.
- Contribute to curriculum development and review to ensure courses are aligned with industry and academic standards.
- Promote the importance of mathematics in various fields and encourage student interest in the subject.
Essential Requirements:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field (or equivalent).
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or a commitment to obtaining one.
- Experience in teaching mathematics, preferably within further education.
- Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and applications.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
