Our client is a traditional manufacturing company with around 70 employees which supplies high end heavily engineered metal assemblies to a global market, processes on site include presswork, plating, painting, polishing, CNC machining, and assembly operations.
We are currently seeking a proactive and driven Industrial Engineer to join their highly skilled engineering team. This role is integral to their ambitious plans for growth, working closely with operations, manufacturing, and technical teams to drive improvements in ERP implementation, process optimisation, and quality enhancement.

What You’ll Be Doing
As an Industrial Engineer, you will:
Optimise manufacturing processes - Evaluate and improve existing workflows to enhance efficiency and quality.
Lead ERP implementation - Support the integration of Epicor (or similar) across operations.
Drive continuous improvement - Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
Enhance productivity - Conduct time and motion studies, establish standard work procedures, and optimise labour utilisation.
Support quality initiatives - Conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Collaborate across teams - Work with operators on the shop floor and present insights to senior management.
Lead projects - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from new process introductions to long-term improvement strategies.

Essential Skills & Experience
Experience in ERP implementation and support within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.
Proven track record in continuous business improvement initiatives.
Proficiency in Epicor (or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Solid engineering knowledge, ideally with exposure to SolidWorks, DriveWorks, and SolidCam.
A degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
