The successful candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to a variety of metal components in an efficient and high-quality manner. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to producing top-quality finishes.
Preparation of metal surfaces (cleaning, masking, and pre-treatment) prior to coating.
Applying powder coatings using electrostatic spray equipment to meet customer specifications.
Operating and maintaining spray booths and ovens.
Ensuring all products meet quality standards and specifications.
Inspecting finished products for any defects and correcting as necessary.
Adhering to health and safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
Managing stock levels of powders and materials.
Completing work within deadlines and managing time efficiently.
Previous experience as a Powder Coater (at least 2 years preferred).
Knowledge of various powder coating techniques and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good understanding of health and safety in a workshop environment.
Physical fitness as the role may involve heavy lifting.
