AJ Chambers is partnered with a family-friendly, top boutique law firm based in Hitchin, seeking a Conveyancing Legal Assistant/Paralegal.

You will support 2 Fee Earners, reporting directly to a Director, assisting from start to finish on Conveyancing transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist solicitors with all aspects of conveyancing transactions from inception to completion.
  • Prepare and review legal documents related to property transactions.
  • Conduct title searches and property due diligence.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other legal professionals.
  • Manage and organise case files efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a conveyancing role is essential.
  • An understanding of the conveyancing process and property law would be beneficial.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document management software.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
