About the Role: My client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Campus Operations Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal, reporting directly to the CEO and playing a crucial part in the management team. The successful candidate will oversee the maintenance, security, and operational efficiency of the campus, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage campus maintenance and security, ensuring all facilities are in excellent condition.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and best practices.
  • Oversee contract management with key suppliers.
  • Support the effective delivery of courses, concerts, and private hires.
  • Lead IT management and collaborate with the IT support company.
  • Manage the campus operations budget and project budgets.
  • Line manage Duty Managers and coordinate with the hospitality team.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in building operations or management, including risk assessment.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Budget management and planning expertise.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety compliance.

Desirable:

  • Health & Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH).
  • Experience working with historic buildings.
  • Background in the arts, culture, adult education, or charity sectors.
