Marketing & Communication Executive

Up to £28k per annum

Due to growth, and for positive reasons my client is looking for a Marketing and Communications Officer to support the future growth to promote the services, activities and impact of the business.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Work with internal teams to create content for fundraising, service awareness, and advocacy campaigns.
  • Manage and execute these campaigns across digital, print, social media, and email marketing.
  • Produce high-quality, engaging content for the website, social media, newsletters, leaflets and brochures.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing communications.
  • Manage and grow the charity’s social media accounts
  • Draft press releases, media statements, and other communications for distribution to media outlets.
  • Coordinate interviews, briefings, and media opportunities for senior staff and spokespeople.

Person Specification

  • Experience in marketing, communications, or a similar role, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
  • Experience in creating and delivering successful marketing campaigns across a variety of channels.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and using analytics tools to assess engagement and reach.
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools, social media platforms, email marketing, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Proficiency in using analytics and reporting tools
