Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the planning, management, and successful delivery of HVAC projects across both commercial and residential sectors. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in mechanical services, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing. The role involves ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Mechanical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee mechanical services projects from inception through to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
  • Provide expert guidance on HVAC systems, ensuring designs, installations, and modifications comply with regulations and best practices.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, technicians, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and resource management.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring financial targets are met and managing any necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations, performing site inspections as required.
  • Address and resolve any technical or operational issues that arise during project execution.
  • Regularly update senior management and clients with progress reports, ensuring transparency on KPIs, milestones, and project status.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within mechanical services, with a focus on HVAC systems for commercial and residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical services, including plumbing and related building services.
  • Proven ability to manage mechanical services projects from start to finish, ensuring successful outcomes.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
