KM4HR are recruiting an exceptional HR Business Partner for the family owned, people centric client for their North Hertfordshire based client.

Working in a lean, HR team you will become the dedicated HR Business Partner for 3 key stakeholders groups (approx. 250 staff) needing a proactive, commercially minded HR Business Partner.

The role requires a HR Business Partner who actively seeks to empower and lead their management teams with the knowledge needed to drive employee engagement and culture at line level, allowing you time to identify opportunities for business improvement and critically ensuring HR are used as expert support and in cases of escalation.

Working in a small team of Business Partners you will take on specific, key generalist responsibilities and will foster close working relationships with the HR support team for all other operational needs.

Initiative and collaboration, in your approach to partnering with your stakeholder groups, will lead you to analyse requirements, decide on business critical or business enhancing projects to then pitch ideas ready for implementation.

Additionally, you will also have responsibility for the following;

  • Providing, advice and support and making good judgement as to the structure and resources needed to meet current and future business needs
  • Assist with talent strategies surrounding attraction, recruitment and training & development
  • Advise and update on current employment legislation ensuring policies reflect real time changes
  • Support the management of employee relations, assisting departments when needed
  • Control policy development for the business
  • Identify and support learning and development opportunities for client groups ensuring equal opportunities to train for all staff
  • Encourage future planning and minimise knowledge gaps & challenges in existing teams

This is a true Business Partner role. One where education and coaching of the management team to elevate the HR service is paramount. This is a business which has an extremely adult environment and therefore needs someone with confident decision-making abilities with effective communication skills to influence.

A CIPD qualification with previous experience gained within a similar environment is essential.
