About the Service
We are a specialist neurological care centre based in Hertfordshire, providing care for people with a variety of neurological conditions. We aim to improve the lives of individuals with neurological conditions and brain injuries through our tailored rehabilitation and care programs.

Main Purpose of the Role
As a Physiotherapist, you will assess, implement, and evaluate person-centred care programmes as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will ensure continuity and consistency in service users' physical management and demonstrate advanced clinical, technical, and research skills.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
• Assess service users' needs, focusing on optimising independence, physical function, and symptom control
• Devise formal care plans for families and carers to support physiotherapy interventions
• Promote choice and continuously review clinical practices to enhance the service user experience, ensuring that concerns and complaints can be freely raised
• Collaborate with other health and social care professionals in the planning and delivery of physiotherapy care
• Ensure the appropriate prescription, provision, and maintenance of equipment within available resources
• Maintain accurate written and electronic records in accordance with professional standards, ensuring sensitive information is securely stored
• Demonstrate clinical leadership and promote clinical supervision
• Share knowledge and expertise through formal and informal teaching to staff members
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure service user confidentiality is upheld
• Occasionally undertake reasonable additional tasks as required

About You
• Diploma/BSc in Physiotherapy
• Current and valid registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Current membership with a professional body, such as the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD)
• Experience using evidence-based practice and outcome measures
• Knowledge and application of physiotherapy assessments and interventions, with strong clinical reasoning skills
• Ability to work autonomously, set priorities, and support others in their work
• Competence in assessing and managing risk in relation to physical performance
