Our client is a professional Award-winning Financial Advice firm with years’ experience in handling wealth portfolios of ultra-high net worth individuals with assets under management ranging from £2m up t0 150m+.

This role offers a great opportunity for the right candidate to come and work for a progressive, award winning independent financial planning firm set in a beautiful location. They have built a fantastic reputation in the IFA/ Financial Planner community.

Due to growth the Director is creating a brand-new role within the business for a Paraplanner The role will be office based with the occasional days working from home.

As a paraplanner, your work will consist of reporting on portfolio performance, analysing market offerings, services and products, and administering and actioning any advice given by the advisor that you will be supporting. Advice will cover pensions, investments, tax planning, IHT, mortgages and some protections to clients across the London and home counties region. They also offer advice on Wills, Trusts and Estate planning to help with inter-generational planning.

The Position - Qualified Paraplanner

  • Must be diploma qualified, but will consider applicants with a 1 or 2 exams outstanding
  • Have at least 3 years IFA experience

Responsibilities:

  • Write financial plans
  • Write annual reviews.
  • Write suitability letter
  • Update templates as required and after Budgets
  • Developing all template and client facing materials
  • Updating IO with client data, emails, docs and tasks
  • Client - liaise with clients regarding technical replies, end of tax year queries, factual information, getting permission to sell down to withdraw income and lump sums.
  • Transact, Nucleus and Fidelity key liaison.
  • Understand all platforms and how they work.
