Pre-Tenancy Administrator

Location: Hitchin

Salary: £25,000

Our client, a well-established property management and relocation company with over 30 years of industry experience, is seeking a Tenancy Administrator to join their friendly team in Hitchin. The role involves developing and maintaining sound working relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues. You will also be expected to actively participate in contributing to a positive working environment.

A key part of your role will be to arrange and administer the moving-in process, ensuring the deal complies with all laws and legislation from the point of the offer until the move-in.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with referencing companies and suppliers.
  • Procuring quotations or estimates as required and obtaining approval from clients.
  • Supporting the operations team to ensure all building services are delivered in accordance with lease requirements, contractual obligations, and good operating practices.
  • Maintaining accurate case history logs and diaries.
  • Regular verification and updating of individual case files.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service in a high-pressure environment.
  • Following ARLA guidelines in day-to-day duties.
  • Liaising with colleagues, customers, and contractors to ensure move-ins happen as efficiently as possible.
  • Ensuring all files are compliant with laws and legislation before allowing the move-in to proceed.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capable of recognizing the impact and/or consequences of proposed actions.
  • Precise organizational skills.

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in dealing with pre-tenancy, including tenancy agreements and compliance arrangements.
