Role: Security Consultant
Location: Stevenage, with site visits tocustomers
Salary: 35,000 per annum basic. Potential to earn up to 50,000 per year.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)
About:
Our client is a well-established company specialising in security systems.
The candidate will need to prepare tenders and quotations by designing or interpreting specifications from M & E Consultants. This includes working with architect's drawings or conducting surveys for security systems such as intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and door entry systems, all within set deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare tenders and quotations based on specifications provided by M&E consultants or through on-site surveys.
- Design and interpret specifications for various security systems, including Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Door Entry systems.
- Generate new enquiries and maintain existing client relationships. Present proposals to clients either at our premises or theirs.
- Provide quotations for system takeovers and upgrades.
- Oversee the entire sales process, including site visits and project finalisation.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven sales record in security systems.
- Familiarity with equipment from Eaton, Pyronix, Honeywell, Texecom, Hikvision, Pelco, and other specified brands.
- Competence in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and security standards software.
- Understanding of NSI standards and appreciation of contract law.
- Full clean UK driving licence and own transport.
- Must pass comprehensive security screening including Enhanced DBS, PNC check, and other relevant checks.
