Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join our clients team as a Head Chef. This role combines culinary expertise with food and beverage management skills to oversee all aspects of the dining and beverage operations. The ideal candidate will be a creative and experienced chef with a passion for food, a flair for menu innovation, and a strong background in hospitality. You will be key in creating a new department within a strong business so you must be ready for a challenge and to be flexible in your approach.

Key Responsibilities: Culinary Leadership:

? Plan, design, and execute innovative menus that reflect our brand, customer preferences, and market trends.

? Oversee daily kitchen operations, including supervising staff, food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

? Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards as per local health regulations.

? Manage inventory and procurement of food supplies and kitchen equipment, ensuring cost control and minimising waste.

? Oversee all food and beverage operations

? Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food and beverage service to ensure consistent quality and customer satisfaction.

? Monitor and control food and beverage costs, develop budgets, and analyse financial performance to achieve revenue and profitability goals.

? Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts, source quality products, and manage relationships. Staff Management and Development:

? Recruit, train, and develop kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring a high level of service and culinary expertise.

? Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement staff training programs to enhance skills and career development.

? Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and motivation among staff. Customer Service and Quality Control:

? Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards in food and beverage offerings, service, and dining experience.

? Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.

? Develop and implement initiatives to improve guest satisfaction, drive sales, and promote customer loyalty. Health and Safety Compliance:

? Ensure that all food and beverage operations comply with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

? Conduct regular inspections and audits of kitchen, bar, and dining areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Qualifications:

? Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or similar role in a fast-paced environment.

? Strong experience in food and beverage management, including budget management, cost control, and financial analysis.

? In-depth knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation standards.

? Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

? Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

? Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.

? Knowledge of inventory management software, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
