Due to increased workload, we're on the lookout for a Bench Worker/Binder Operative to join a growing company in Stevenage.

Are you the right person for the job?
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Good computer skills and familiarity with basic software.
- Strong organisational, numeracy, and literacy skills.
- A knack for clear verbal communication.
- A “can-do” attitude with a good sense of humour (it helps under pressure!).
- Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks.
- Local to Stevenage (within a 30-minute commute of SG1 2XU).
- Physically fit to meet the demands of the job.
Bonus: Prior experience in print finishing is great but not required—our client is happy to train the right person!
What will your role look like?
- Packing books, arranging courier collections, and managing deliveries.
- Organising storage spaces, maintaining packaging supplies, and labelling goods accurately.
- Assisting the bindery operative and contributing to other print-finishing tasks as needed.
- Loading/unloading delivery vehicles and preparing delivery notes.
