TECHNICAL SALES ACCOUNT MANAGERAn exciting opportunity to be part of a very ambitious and forward-thinking UK manufacturer of commercial lighting products selling to the commercial fit-out industry.JOB OVERVIEWProcessing of incoming sales enquiries, understanding technical information, overseeing lighting designs, raising quotations and following quotations through to orders. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES• Prepare sales quotations based on customer requirements – including understanding drawings/specifications• Close sales and support the sales team in hitting monthly targets • Utilise CRM system to log and follow up all quotations • Providing world class service in response times to quotes, queries and questions ensuring the customer has the best experience in the market every time through a consistently high standard in both content and speed.• Follow-up of quotes and opportunities.• Contacting existing, lapsed and new customers by phone or through online meetings on a daily basis to build rapport and grow their spend.• Evaluate, track, maintain, develop and grow spend of an existing group of customers and inbound sales leads to produce 20% minimum growth on your sales area. ATTRIBUTES• Honesty, loyalty and integrity• Extensive experience and knowledge of the commercial lighting industry • Prior sales success • Gregarious and outgoing team player • Strong negotiation skills, target driven, highly motivated self-starter • Organised, methodical and accurate • Proven track record of managing high customer expectations and delivering results under time pressure working to tight deadlines.Remuneration: Competitive salary• Join company bonus scheme on completion of probation (6 Months)• Standard hours are 7.30 to 16.30 but can be flexible around this• Based full time onsite at head office in Hertfordshire
