A dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant is required to join a team of bright and and friendly nurseries based around Hoddesdon and Ware. As a nursery assistant, you will have a passion for working with young children and a positive attitude. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities of the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children.

There is no need to have previous experience as training will be provided.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote children's development and learning.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive nursery environment.
- Support the lead nursery staff in managing daily routines and maintaining cleanliness within the nursery.
- Help with the preparation of snacks and meals, ensuring dietary needs are met.

Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred but not essential.
- A background in early childhood education or related qualifications would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour.
- Leadership qualities to support the team and guide children positively.
- A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development.
- A valid driving licence is beneficial but not essential.
