Position: Cook

Responsibilities as a Cook:

  • Menu Compilation: Collaborate with residents, families, and the Home Manager to create seasonal menus that cater to diverse backgrounds, cultures, and dietary requirements.
  • Dining Excellence: Ensure the delivery of an excellent dining room and mealtime experience, focusing on presentation and nutritional value.
  • Kitchen Hygiene: Oversee the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and maintaining high standards.
  • Financial Controls: Effectively manage kitchen finances, adhering to company-set budgets.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop the kitchen team through supervision, appraisals, and induction of new members.

Essential Skills, Characteristics, and Experience:

  • Hold a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above.
