The Reporting Finance Business Partner will manage financial reports and analysis, playing a crucial role in the reporting function of this large construction business based in Hertfordshire. This role will encompass a range of responsibilities that are principally focussed around delivery of high quality and robust financial accounting, control and reporting for entities within the business.

Description
- Preparing and presenting detailed financial reports.
- Analysing financial data and identifying trends.
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
- Working with auditing services to ensure financial monitoring is up-to-date.
- Collaborating with various departments to gather information and streamline operations.
- Implementing financial policies and adhering to all financial regulations.
- Conducting risk assessment and advising on risk management.
- Ensuring all financial operations are transparent and effective.
- General ledger and balance sheet management including balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting the production of consolidated monthly and quarterly management accounts and reports (Business Unit and Group requirements)
- Liaise with central finance to resolve any queries/issues arising
- Assisting with production of year-end statutory accounts and supporting external audit
- Assisting with cashflow management, monitoring and reporting
- Preparation of supporting information for tax compliance activities (VAT, CT etc)
- Ensuring integrity of financial controls
- Ad hoc projects and data analysis and manipulation as required in support of team objectives
Profile
A successful Reporting Finance Business Partner should have:
- A degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial software and databases.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and procedures.
- High attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors.
- Good organisational skills.
- Detail conscious - able to deliver accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and produce accurate time critical information
