My client is currently seeking an Assistant Bid Writer for a well renowned construction company located in the wonderful location of Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. 
 

This role will ideally be suited to a graduate or entry level looking to get into Bids and negotiations. If you already have experience then we will be excited to speak with you. 
 

You will work under the supervision of a Bid Manager, and with the Bid Coordinators, to assist them in developing the bid structure, content and format.  

You will be able to write effective, concise and compelling content while under the pressure associated with meeting strict deadlines.

 The ability to work as a team and to get accurate, high quality information from all bid stakeholders in order to produce first class bid content is essential. This may involve reviewing, proof reading and editing previously written content by others, and/or working with the bid andoperational teams to produce new content tailored to client requirements.

The Assistent Bid Writer will also take an essential role in collating and writing content for the bid library to enhancefuture bids as well as contributing to presentations and bid documentation that delivers a cohesive and consistent approach.

You will have:

Proven IT and desktop publishing skills, Including the Microsoft Office Suite

Communication skills

Literacy and presentation skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities within demanding timescales.

Ability to manage line managers

Ability to continually improve the quality of work sent out by the company

Copywriting training / experience
