An international milk and dairy products company is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to deliver its products quickly and efficiently to clients from Hoddesdon to London and the surrounding areas.

The Role

This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle roll cage deliveries. If you have a passion for driving and enjoy working independently, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Operate a lorry in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while maintaining the highest standards of safety.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Load and unload cage cargo, safely and securely.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and operational protocols.

Requirements

Valid HGV Driving License at least one years old with up to date CPC card and Tacho card.
A clean driving record with no more than 6 points and no major endorsements..
At least 1 years proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles, HGV 2 or 1 level in the UK.
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cages in to retail stores.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
A commitment to safety and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
