Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inspections and audits of solar installations to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Test and verify the functionality of wiring, inverters, and other electrical components.
- Commission systems, ensuring they operate efficiently upon completion.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults during and after installation.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide technical feedback.
- Prepare comprehensive commissioning and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with the latest electrical regulations, including the 18th Edition.
- Mentor junior engineers and installers on best practices.
- Stay updated on advancements in solar technology and standards.

The Person
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification.
- Experience in electrical installations, including auditing and commissioning solar systems.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Clear and concise reporting abilities.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
