Mental Health Support Worker - Salary to £24000 to £25.882

The Role:

We are currently looking to recruit a Mental Health Support Worker to join the team.

You will have your own responsibilities, and you will be expected to co-operate with other team members for the smooth running of the home. For each period of duty there is a Team Leader member of staff with overall responsibility for the work of all staff and for the home generally.

Experience and Skills: Mental Health Support Worker

  • As a Support Worker you will have responsibility for certain residents under the Keyworker Scheme.
  • You will establish a relationship as an equal with the resident concerned
  • Report areas of development or need to the Team Leader staff, participate in meetings related to resident care,
  • The Mental Health Support Worker will help prepare individual care plans and carry out reviews of progress
  • Support residents to experience and develop and maintain choices
  • You will have a calm, confident manner and a flexible approach
