Are you currently in a leadership role that isn't offering you the progression you want? I am currently loking for a dedicated Yard Supervisor to join a dynamic team who you would lead to maintain and meet high standards in quality, food safety and health and safety.

Responsibilites

As the Yard Supervisor, you will be leading the grading and yard team to meet product requirements. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring quality and hygiene policies are followed and monitored.

You'll will be working with documentation and records keeping accurate and up-to-date details regarding the products. Communication is key and if you thrive in well organised environments this could be for you. You'll be connecting with all departments, both in person and electronically. You'll also keep an eye on labour costs to make sure we stay within budget. Sometimes, you'll need to jump in and help with other tasks, like using a forklift. This role offers a good balance of hands on work you won't be sat behind a computer all day. And finally, after training is complete you will have the autonomy to schedule your days.

What is needed from you?

  • Strong communication is key
  • Leadership ability
  • Fluent in English
  • Forklift Licence is a big plus but you can be trained up if needed
  • Proficient computer skills, including email, word, excel for example
  • Flexible approach and a team player
