Project Manager – Complex Electro-Mechanical Products

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of new development and serial production projects. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and compliant with specifications, while coordinating cross-functional teams across design, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, test, and quality.

Key Responsibilities for the Technical Project Manager:
  • Develop robust delivery programmes and secure buy-in from all relevant internal teams.
  • Monitor progress against project milestones, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to maintain project goals, adapting plans based on R&D developments and test data.
  • Serve as the primary customer interface, coordinating with external Project Management and Engineering Teams to define and maintain all technical and commercial interfaces.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration between internal and external stakeholders to keep projects on track.
Technical Competencies for the Project Manager:
  • Strong understanding of complex electro-mechanical product design and operation, including key design parameters and their impact on overall performance.
  • Familiarity with development and simulation software is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and advanced skills in MS Project Pro are an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
  • Hands-on experience in the development and testing of complex electro-mechanical products.
  • Ability to contribute to design, development, and manufacturing processes in a fast-paced, R&D-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
