Sonic Summary

The company is seeking an experienced Stores Operative/Band Saw Operative/Semi-skilled Engineer located between Holmfirth and Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
The role involves stock control, cutting steel using a band saw, and reading engineering drawings, among other duties.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a high precision manufacturing environment and possess excellent communication skills.
The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm and Friday from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm.
The pay ranges from £12.50 to £13.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Stores Operative / Band Saw Operative/ Semi skilled Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced stores operative to work for our client who are located in between Holmfirth and Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A STORES OPERATIVE:

Stock control / booking in stock

Computer literate

Cut steel using a band saw

Measuring steels correctly and accurately

Marking out

Operating Automatic Saws/ Steel Bar Saws.

Read and understand engineering drawings.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
Excellent communication skills

THE HOURS:

Working on days Monday Thursday 7:30am 4pm

Friday 7:30am 1.30pm

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of £12.50 to £13.50 an hour depending on experience.
