Health & Safety Administrator
Location: Birstall, West Yorkshire
Salary: Up to 26k DOE
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)
Join our HSEQ team! We're looking for a passionate, proactive individual to support our H&S Manager and team. No experience required - just a keen interest in health, safety, and environmental management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage HSEQ admin and handle employee queries.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture.
- Maintain and update IMS documentation.
- Support health and safety policy development and monitoring.
- Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Maintain training records and arrange external courses.
- Assist with Health & Safety Plans and CDM matters.
- Distribute safety, health, and environmental materials.
- Encourage and review safety suggestions.
- Research and collate information for reports and policy updates.
- Administer computer and database systems.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accurate data recording.
- Good organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Discreet with confidential information.
- Keen interest in health, safety, and environmental management.
