The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day warehouse functions, ensuring stock accuracy, optimizing operational efficiency, and leading a team to maintain high standards of productivity and safety. The warehouse team consists of only four people and the supervisor, requiring a hands-on leadership approach.Oversee all warehouse operations including goods in, goods out, and stock management.Implement and monitor KPIs to drive efficiency and performance improvements.Manage a team, providing leadership, training, and performance management.Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.Conduct inventory management, stock control, and audits to ensure accuracy.Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient distribution.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.Supervise warehouse layout planning to maximize space utilization.Manage equipment maintenance and ensure all machinery is operational.Handle staff scheduling and manage workload distribution.Proven experience in a warehouse management role within a manufacturing environment.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.Excellent understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and logistics.Knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance.Ability to analyze and improve warehouse efficiency and KPIs.Hands-on approach with a proactive problem-solving mindset.Competency in IT systems and stock management software.Forklift license is desirable but not essential.Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)Profit Bonus: Starts at 3% and can rise up to 15% of wage depending on performance of both the employee and the company overall.Opportunities for career progression.A dynamic and fast-paced working environment.Supportive leadership and training programs.Hours are 39 per week 8.30 - 5.00 Mon-Thurs and 8.30 - 4.00 Friday.If you are an experienced Warehouse Manager looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, apply now!INDHM
