As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Mechanical Service Engineer to join our talented maintenance team.

About the role?
This is a full-time, permanent role based at our Holmfirth dairy, working Monday to Friday with a shared rota for weekend and on-call duties. Flexibility is key, as occasional adjustments to your working hours may be required to meet business needs.
You will play an important role in maintaining the high standards of our dairy manufacturing processes. Working alongside a passionate engineering team, you'll tackle a wide range of engineering challenges from maintaining critical plant machinery to engaging in exciting new projects. Your expertise will ensure our dairy machinery operates smoothly and efficiently, and you'll be instrumental in troubleshooting technical issues, testing, and commissioning new equipment.
About you?
We're looking for candidates with:
- Proven experience in industrial mechanical and maintenance engineering (5+ years preferred, ideally in a food manufacturing environment)
- An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Ability to carry out and manage installation projects
- Some basic electrical knowledge and understanding
- Commitment to excellent food hygiene and health and safety practices
- Ability to be flexible when cover is needed for holidays, critical maintenance and projects
- IT literacy and good communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, taking care and pride in the quality of your work
- Experience with PLCs and VSD motor control systems (desirable but not essential).
