My client is a manufacturing organisation in Holmfirth. Due to growth of the organisation they are recruiting this role on a permanent basis into their finance function, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is towards the start of their career and is looking to progress both with their studies and experience.
As an Accounts Assistant you will initially be responsible for all aspects of purchase ledger including processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, dealing with supplier queries and processing payment runs, alongside working on stock control and reconciliations. The role will quickly progress into a position where you will business partner with various finance and non-finance stakeholders, providing reporting and analysis as well as doing budgeting and forecasting.
This role will suit a candidate who is working towards their AAT/CIMA/ACCA and has experience working in a finance function, who is keen to develop their skills and experience and has the ability to business partner with various levels of staff across the business.
The salary on offer is paying up to £30,000 dependant on experience with an attractive benefits package that includes study support and a generous holiday entitlement, the role is based onsite five days per week until you have passed your 6 month probation and you can then work one day per week from home.
