Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
- Promote a healthy, active lifestyle and encourage participation in a variety of sports and physical activities.
- Manage and organise extra-curricular sports clubs and teams, fostering a love for physical fitness beyond the classroom.
- Support the development of students' physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during physical activities and comply with safeguarding procedures.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates all students to achieve their best.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A strong background in Physical Education and experience teaching PE at the secondary level.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to promoting physical health and well-being.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
