The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experience Commissioning Engineer- EC&I to join a world-leading, nuclear client based on Sellafield.

Job Overview:

The Box Encapsulation Plant project is one of the most important construction projects at the Sellafield Site, the plant will play a vital role in Sellafield's 100-year clean-up programme by taking nuclear waste recovered from the sites original waste plants and encasing it in concrete so it can be stored in a modern building.

Some of your duties will include:

  • To carry out vendor testing witnessing duties at works test
  • Preparation of plant commissioning test specifications
  • Early inspection of site installation to facilitate system handovers
  • Execution of testing activities throughout IPC commissioning phase
  • Identification of faults and ability to propose and implement Solutions

What do you need to succeed?

  • Nuclear CE&I systems commissioning
  • Minimum - HNC/HND in Engineering related subject or equivalent
  • Experience in nuclear commissioning
  • Project management knowledge, preferably APM member
