About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Electrical Project Engineers to join our team on a regulated nuclear site. This role requires a motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in project management and technical expertise in electrical engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating complex projects, managing teams, and ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of assigned technical and engineering projects, including budget development, scheduling, and work plans.
  • Client Communication: Translate client needs into actionable plans and timelines, ensuring that the team consistently meets client expectations.
  • Site Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, upholding health and safety standards at all times.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify potential issues within projects, lead the team in developing and implementing solutions, and ensure that projects run smoothly.
  • Team Leadership: Conduct regular team meetings to foster morale, provide clear daily objectives, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all legal, regulatory, and site-specific requirements are met throughout each project phase.
  • Collaboration with Contractors: Work closely with third-party contractors to establish viable timeframes and coordinate working practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team innovation and high standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong background in project management with demonstrated experience managing electrical projects from inception to completion.
  • Technical knowledge in nuclear or highly regulated environments preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating project risks.
