Contek Recruitment are currently working with a precision engineering company, based inRedditch, West Midlands.Our client are specialists in the production and manufacture of machined parts and components for a wide range of industries, including Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Energy, and many more.

Our client are nowactively looking for an experiencedCNC Millerto join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working Hours:Monday to Thursday (07:30until 16:30) and Friday (07:30 until 12:30)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate a range of horizontal CNC milling machinery to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Programming at the machine using Fanuc controls.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience programming, setting up and operating CNC milling machinery is required.
  • Previous experience programming using Fanuc, or a similar control is required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
