Contek Recruitment are currently working with a precision engineering company, based in Redditch, West Midlands. Our client are specialists in the production and manufacture of machined parts and components for a wide range of industries, including Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Energy, and many more.
Our client are now actively looking for an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Working Hours:Monday to Thursday (07:30 until 16:30) and Friday (07:30 until 12:30)
Key Responsibilities:
- Visual and hands-on inspection of a range of machined parts and components for various industries.
- Utilising a range of inspection equipment, including micrometres, verniers, calipers, height/depth gauges, and shadowgraphs.
- Writing manual and CNC programs using a CMM (PC-DMIS software)
Requirements:
- Previous experience within quality inspection is required.
- Previous experience programming CMM is required.
- Previous experience using PC-DMIS software is desirable.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
