Contek Recruitment are currently working with a precision machining company, based inRedditch, West Midlands, who are actively looking for an experiencedQuality Inspectorto join their team.

About The Company: Our client are a subcontract precision engineering company, who have been around since 1986. They are based in Redditch and specialise in the precision machining of parts and components for a range of industries, including Automotive, Oil and Gas, Aerospace, Medical, and more. They are investing heavily at the moment, in both their facility and their team.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (07:30 AM until 16:30 AM) and Friday (07:30 AM until 12:30 PM)

Salary/Pay: Up to 18.50 per hour (Up to 37,000 per year) (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visual and hands-on inspection of a range of machined parts and components for various industries.
  • Utilising a range of inspection equipment, including micrometres, verniers, calipers, height/depth gauges, and shadowgraphs.
  • Writing manual and CNC programs using a CMM (PC-DMIS software)
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within quality inspection is required.
  • Previous experience programming CMM is required.
  • Previous experience using PC-DMIS software is desirable.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
