About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver nutritious and appetizing meals for elderly residents, including those with specific dietary needs.
  • Design seasonal menus that are varied, balanced, and appealing.
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Oversee food stock, purchasing, and budget management to minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with care staff to ensure individual residents' nutritional requirements are met.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a similar setting.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Catering or equivalent qualification, desirable.
  • Knowledge of nutrition, dietary needs, and food safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
