Your new company
This well known manufacturing business based in Suffolk are looking for an experienced Training Manager, to own and implement the site training plan.
Your new role
As the site Training lead you will build, maintain and implement a site training strategy for the business, maintaining the training records ensuring they are compliant and audit ready. You will utilise the NVolve learning management system to ensure it is utilised to maximum functionality. You will oversee site induction processes ensuring materials are kept up to date with new legislation as required by law, working closely with Health & Safety to ensure best practice.
You will conduct Train the Trainer courses where necessary, overseeing the on-the-line training instructors to ensure compliance to company standards, be fully involved with pre-audit preparations and represent the training department in any audits as requested.
. What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will hold a Diploma/Degree in L&D or training, coupled with Train the Trainer or PETALS qualification. You will have experience in managing and developing a team, and have gained experience in a manufacturing environment (Food), knowledge of BRC and ethical audit requirements. Strong IT skills, health & safety legislation, food safety knowledge are all desirable.
