Job Summary: The role involves supporting the Warehouse and Facilities Manager in various tasks related to goods-in, goods-out, and production functions. The main responsibility is to ensure smooth and timely execution of warehouse operations to support company sales. This includes using forklift trucks to pick materials for production and returning unused materials to the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities: Ensuring correct and safe use of stock locations, completing good received notes, maintaining cleanliness and safety in warehouses, adhering to health and safety guidelines, loading and unloading stock containers using forklifts and other equipment, receiving and checking deliveries, inspecting and processing goods received, labeling and storing goods as per instructions, conducting daily checks on forklifts, liaising with managers for site deliveries and returns, checking shipping lists and preparing shipments, maintaining returns log and stock list, providing assistance to multiple departments, administration and processing of paperwork, troubleshooting problems, and reporting damaged items or equipment to the manager.
