  • The daily rate for this position is negotiable, and candidates must have UK working rights and be able to complete a security BPSS check.
  • Applicants should ideally have several years of relevant experience in the aviation industry.

On behalf of our client who deliver critical and vital services to the Civil and Defence sectors we are looking to recruit a Structures Technician preferably with fast jet experience.

Job Title: Aircraft Structures Technician (B3T)
Location: RAF Valley, Holyhead
Type: Contract, long term

IR35: Inside
Daily Rate: negotiable

Responsibilities
The main tasks could include but not limited to: -

  • Carry out 1st signature responsibilities.
  • Carry out all authority level D special F tasks that do not require additional authorization criteria - subject to any limitations imposed by the authorising authority.
  • Ensuring that the tasks is completed in a safe and efficient manner, on time and to the highest standard.
  • Maintaining a PEVL to establish continuity of experience.
  • Complete all work to a high standard ensure that they conform to current regulations and that documentation is promptly and accurately completed.
  • Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are always implemented and complied with.
  • Maintain Environmental, Quality, Security and Health & Safety standards as defined by company policies.


Requirements:
Training in an Aircraft related discipline to: -

  • City & Guilds 2675 Level 3 or equivalent or NVQ Level 3 in Aircraft maintenance.
  • Proficient in the interpretation of engineering drawings, workbook instructions, and technical manuals.
  • Qualified and experienced in primary and secondary Airframe structural repair techniques.
  • Candidate will be required to successfully complete a skill at hand test piece (insert repair) within a set time scale.
  • Mechanical Systems Type course.


To be successful in this role you will need to have UK working rights at the time of application and be able to obtain the necessary security BPSS check.
