Our client has an opportunity for a Survival Equipment Supervisor to join them on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of all Survival Equipment Maintenance activities for Hawk AJT contract at RAF Valley
Role: Survival Equipment Supervisor
Location: Holyhead, Anglesey
Hours: Full time / Permanent (onsite at RAF Valley)
Salary: Discussed Upon Application
Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC clearance.
Responsibilities:
Day to day, you'll appropriately task manpower resource within their area of responsibility so that scheduled maintenance programs are maintained, and emergent tasks are rectified in good time as well as:
- Contribute to the creation of department risk assessments and the sustainment of the review program, whilst ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with approved maintenance data with discrepancies, errors and omissions reported appropriately for rectification.
- Ensure staff hold and can display currency in all maintenance authorities required whilst carrying out maintenance constantly ensure staff are briefed on all latest safety, company and maintenance notices and that understanding is confirmed, contributing constructively, and completing set actions in good time to team briefings.
- Support SE Controller with development of succession plans, the setting PDR objectives, and the resolution of performance issues.
Skills / Experience:
- Evidence of previous experience using a combination of general and specialist engineering knowledge and understanding to apply existing and emerging technology.
- Working knowledge and use of IT Operating Systems (MS Office Suite) and the Internet.
- Experience in a Fitter position within a related engineering environment
Qualifications for the Survival Equipment Supervisor:
- Full Driving License
- Ability to attain Q-SE-AC/Q-SE-AV-Med following formal training
- Training in relevant discipline to City and Guilds Level or level 3 equivalent
