Airborne Instructor

Are you an experienced flying instructor with a passion for aviation and training? We are seeking dedicated Airborne Instructors to deliver high-quality airborne, synthetic, and classroom instruction. You will mentor and guide trainees to achieve excellence in their specialism, supporting their journey through Basic Flying Training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective airborne, technical, and classroom instruction, ensuring safety at all times.
  • Act as a mentor, providing leadership and guidance to trainees in both airborne and ground operations.
  • Actively participate in a robust safety culture, ensuring that all aspects of flight safety are upheld.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of the training program.
  • Continuously develop training methods to improve efficiency and performance while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Maintain military aviation standards and contribute to ongoing improvements in training content.

What We are Looking For:

  • Proven flying experience in a military setting, with current or prior Central Flying School Instructional recommendations.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Military Flying Training System (UKMFTS), training systems design, and relevant military regulations.
  • A qualified flying instructor (A2 category or higher) with certification on relevant aircraft.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage trainees, provide feedback, and act as a positive role model.
