As a Fitter / Fabricator you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of both mobile and fixed plant equipment. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of mobile and fixed plant equipment, including but not limited to crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, and generators.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.

  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance plans to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the likelihood of breakdowns.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

  • Safety Compliance

  • Equipment Optimization

  • Parts Inventory: Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts, .


Qualifications
A technical qualification in a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a Mobile & Fixed Plant Technician or similar role in a relevant industry.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting equipment schematics and technical manuals.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
