Control Systems Engineer  - The Role:

As a Control Systems Engineer, you’ll design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art software solutions for industrial control systems.

  • Create and implement advanced PLC systems - Siemens TIA and Allen-Bradley / Rockwell
  • Ensure system reliability through rigorous testing
  • Manage system installation and commissioning on-site (c4-6 weeks a year)
  • Tailor solutions based on detailed client specifications
  • Maintain thorough design, test, and user documentation
  • Partner with Project Managers to deliver exceptional software solutions
  • Offer ongoing troubleshooting and technical support
  • Keep up with industry trends and implement best practices
  • Plan and execute system enhancements

 

Control Systems Engineer  - The Person:

  • Expertise in PLC programming - Siemens TIA or Allen-Bradley / Rockwell
  • DCS, HMI, and SCADA systems experience beneficial
  • Effective troubleshooting and issue resolution skills
  • Meticulous in system design, testing, and documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Eagerness to stay updated with new technologies
  • Relevant engineering degree and hands-on experience in control systems

 

Located in Bellshill this role would be commutable from Glasgow, Cumbernauld, Falkirk and Edinburgh as after initial induction the role will be Hybrid with c2 days per week in the office.
