  • Working hours are from 9am to 5pm, office-based, with online meetings scheduled to accommodate the USA team, and time off in lieu will be provided as needed.
  • The salary for this position is competitive, and candidates should have at least three years of relevant experience.

Working with a Global manufacturer I am looking to recruit a Management Accountant on a permanent basis to manage the UK side of the accounts Reporting to the Group Financial Director this role will have responsibility for the day to day accounting and production of monthly management accounts for the UK business - the successful Candidate will need to have a hands on approach to deliver accounts and provide insightful commentary and analysis. You will need to work to deadlines, show high attention to detail and be able to demonstrate success in a similar role. To be considered for this role you will need to be a qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) and have previous experience within manufacturing or similar industry This is a USA team based role - working hours will be 9am till 5pm and is an office based role. There will be the need to attend online meetings at various times to suit the USA office - however time will be given back in lieu when required. Duties will include: - Reporting to the Finance Director, preparing and delivering the month end accounts, P&L, Balance sheet fully reconciled, Cash Flow and developing and delivering functional leadership team requirements and business KPI's. - Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting process. - Preparation of Hartley Botanic Inc. sales reports. - Ensure all purchase invoices are posted into AP system and required supplier payments made. - Reconciliation of Credit Card Statement every month to ensure all costs are accurately recorded. - Preparation of the Accruals and Prepayments. - Preparation of the US Payroll for authorisation by the President of HB Inc. and Finance Director. Payroll supervision and responsibility for on time, accurate completion through payroll agency (currently ADP) and BACS commitment along with US filing requirements. - Posting of Employment cost journals. - Population of monthly Management Information Packs. - Balance Sheet reconciliation and resolution every month. - Daily, weekly, period Banking - Completion of annual Audit deliverables pack along with ongoing timely information requirements during audit process. - Providing support in a variety of financial projects. - Assist the Finance Director and FP&A with audit queries during year-end processes. - Foster and develop excellent working relationships with other members of the finance team and wider commercial and operational functions of the business particularly in the US. - Continuously develop current processes and systems both as a team and individually.
